Booking terms

 By making a booking with us you agree to these terms and conditions. 

Cancellations and amendments by us

1. Jurassic Boat Trips reserves the right to amend, change, modify or cancel any boat trip at any time.  All of our boat trips are subject to weather, tide and local conditions. Your safety aboard our boats is paramount to us and therefore it is sometimes necessary to cancel a trip. Should we do so, you will receive an email informing you your booking has been cancelled and a refund will be issued.

Cancellations by you

We regret that the cancellation policy stated herewith is strictly imposed without exception. 

2. If you are booked individually or a private charter on a 1 hour or 3 hour trip and decide you want to cancel with less than 48 hours notice before departure, no refunds will be available.

3. If you are booked on a trip of 4 hours or more as an individual booking and cancel with less than 14 days notice you will not be entitled to a refund, this is to ensure other customers do not miss out due to your cancellation. Cancellations made with 14 days or more notice will be entitled to a refund.

4. If you have a private charter for a trip of 4 hours or more, the 50% deposit is non refundable for any cancellations made with less than 14 days notice before departure. If you cancel within 48 hours of departure you will be liable for 75% of the cost of the trip.

Departure

5. Please arrive 15 minutes before the boat is due to depart. No refunds are given if you arrive late or fail to turn up for the boat's departure.

Personal possessions

6. Jurassic Boat Trips does not accept responsibility for customers’ personal property, effects or valuables during trips.

Personal injury

7. Jurassic Boat Trips will not accept any liability for personal injury or injury to others. Passengers participate entirely at their own risk.

Private charters duration of booking

8. For private charters the time starts from the time of your booking. For example if a booking was made for a 2 hour trip at 11am, that is the time the two hour period commences.

Smoking

9. Smoking is strictly prohibited.

Alcohol

10. No alcohol permitted on board unless the skipper has consented.

Behaviour

11. Passengers must ensure they behave in a responsible manner and not endanger themselves, other passengers, skipper, crew, vessel or equipment.

Videos and photography

12. We reserve the right on occasion to take photographs and videos for use in our own publicity. Passengers are welcome to take their own photos and videos.

Sea sickeness / illness

13. Sea sickness. We advise those who are likely to suffer sea sickness to take appropriate motion sickness tablets before departure.

On a scheduled trip we will only return to harbour with agreement from all booking parties, or at the discretion of the skipper.

On a private charter you can decide to return to harbour before the end of your allocated time but no refund will be issued.

Damage caused by passengers

14. Passengers shall be liable to reimburse Jurassic Boat Trips for all damage to the vessel and its furnishings and equipment or any property of Jurassic Boat Trips caused directly or indirectly by any wilful or negligent act or omission on the part of the passenger.
